La Casita Creativa · Andalucía
A private retreat, just for you
Curated crafting escapes: private, unhurried, unmistakably real. One party at a time.

Watch
Stay & Create with endless views
The craft studio and the road down to the village so you know exactly what you are booking.
Ven a quedarte. Ven a crear.
Felicita taught patience with a needle. Faustina taught flavor with her hands. This is the retreat we built in their names a slow week in the Andalusian countryside where you make things, eat well, and remember what your hands are for.
La Casita Creativa takes one party at a time: you, or you and one other. No shared cohorts, no strangers at breakfast. Just your rhythm, your crafts, and the olive groves.

Private accommodations, exclusively yours
Guided craft sessions in the studio, a short walk away

Breakfast daily
Plus. lunch on both craft days
About this property
A small private house on a hillside in the Andalusian countryside, kept for one party at a time.
Retreat days
Choose the shape of your stay
Every retreat is private, so we build it around why you came. Choose a theme with your dates — it tells us how to pace the week, what to cook, and which sessions to prepare before you land.

Just because
For the week you simply needed
No occasion, no agenda. Long mornings, one craft you have always meant to try, and afternoons that stay empty on purpose.
Booking this theme: we keep the schedule loose, keep your studio time unhurried, and check in with you rather than at you.

Mommy & Me
Two generations, one table
Built for a parent and child grown or small to make something together. Paired sessions, shared materials, and a morning that turns into memories.
Booking this theme: we set the studio up for two, plan projects that work at different skill levels, and add a keepsake to take home.

Artist Escape
Studio time, protected
For makers with work in progress. Deeper technical sessions, longer studio hours, and meals that arrive without you organising them.
Booking this theme: we extend your studio hours, brief on your practice beforehand, and keep the week's interruptions to almost none.
Where you'll sleep
Two ways to stay. Both include the full craft retreat when booked through this page.

Day by day
How the week runs
Timings are approximate on purpose. Nothing here is compulsory except breakfast, and even that will wait. Shorter windows run the same rhythm with one craft day.
Arrive & settle
Day 1Settle in, no agenda. Rest, wander the grounds, ease into the quiet. In the evening we'll walk you to Claudistino for your first drink and a bite on us dinner after that (and every night) is yours to choose from our little village book of local favorites in Castil de Campos and Priego de Córdoba.
First craft day in the studio
Day 2Breakfast, then your first studio session. Lunch included. Afternoon is free siesta, pool, the writing corner, whatever slow means to you today. As the light turns gold around 7pm, your private cooking class begins in the olive groves and yes, what you cook is what you eat.
Craft day two
Day 3Breakfast, second studio session. Free afternoon. Dinner in town, on your own and you can check out the guide for tonight's pick!
Your Choice
Day 4Breakfast, then decide: a third quick craft to finish your collection, or make the full day to explore Granada or Córdoba such as the Alhambra, the Mezquita, whichever calls to you. (This is a self-drive day we'll strongly recommend renting a car for your stay; a taxi round-trip runs considerably higher, and airport pickup is available as a paid add-on if needed.)
Your day, unscheduled
Day 5Your Choice: Breakfast, then decide: a third quick craft to finish your collection, or make the full day to explore or lounge.
Reflection & Departure
Day 6Whether you want a late check-out or prefer to take it easy on your departure day, we've got you. Need to check out but still want to explore? No problem leave your bags with us and enjoy a stress-free last day!

Please read before booking
The property
Stay & Create sits on a hill, and reaching the accommodation involves steps. Please review the photos and factor this in — the stay may be difficult for guests with mobility limitations or heavy luggage.
Your bathroom
Your private bathroom is not inside your accommodation unit; it's a short walk (a few steps) away. Exclusively yours and fully private, just not attached to the room. This is part of the character of the property.
Getting to the craft studio
Guided craft sessions take place in a separate studio within walking distance of Stay & Create — a few minutes on foot, with a short hill and some steps. The rooftop terrace at the house is reached through the main house, where your hosts live; your accommodation itself stays completely private. A small, friendly poodle is also on the property — tell us in advance if you're allergic or prefer a dog-free stay.
Kitchen & fridge
Guests have access to the main house kitchen and fridge for personal use throughout their stay.
Safety
We have outdoor security cameras at the front entrance of the property. There are no cameras inside guest accommodations or anywhere on the interior.
Keys & Wi-Fi
Keys are provided at check-in. A lost key fee applies if keys are not returned at checkout. Wi-Fi is included throughout the property.

What people say afterwards
Sample quotes shown while we collect guest permissions — replace them in the editor.
“I came to rest, and it was my first time in Spain. I left with a piece of jewelry, a letter to my future self, and so many beautiful memories of Granada and the peace I found there.”
WandaSolo stay, May 2026“The privacy is the whole thing. No cohort, no schedule you have to keep up with just the studio and the light of the countryside with so many options to create. It was so beautiful to be one of the first to experience it.”
“Faustina's market morning was the best day of the trip, and I say that as someone who came for the embroidery.”
Questions, answered plainly
What should I bring?+
Comfortable shoes for steps and cobbles, layers for cool evenings, a swimsuit, sun cream and a hat. Everything for the crafts is supplied. Spanish plugs are Type F, 230V.
How does reserving work?+
Choose an open date window and a retreat theme on this page, then continue to felicitaandfaustina.com to reserve. Checkout is not handled on this page — we confirm your dates, theme and the final figure with you directly.
When do I choose my craft?+
In the welcome package we send after you reserve. That's also where you tell us about dietary preferences, access needs and any other accommodations.
What is the cancellation policy?+
Free cancellation up to 30 days before check-in, with your deposit returned in full. Between 30 and 14 days we refund half. Inside 14 days the stay is non-refundable, but we will always try to move your dates once at no charge. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
Is the property accessible?+
Honestly, not fully. The house is on a hill and there are steps to the accommodation and the bathroom, and a short walk to the craft studio. Speak to us before reserving so we can be straight with you about whether it will work.
Do I need a car?+
Yes. We're in the countryside and transport isn't included. Rental cars and taxis are available at Málaga and Granada airports, and we can arrange a shuttle on request.
Can you cater to dietary needs?+
Yes. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, nut and shellfish allergies are all routine for Faustina — tell us in the welcome package. Dinners not listed as included are in the village on your own account, and we'll book the table.

What happens next
Once your reservation is confirmed we send a welcome packet and a short pre-arrival form. The form is how we tailor the week to you, so we ask everyone to complete it.
We'll confirm the exact deadline for your pre-arrival form together with your reservation — it depends on how far ahead you book.
Your week, tailored
- Dietary needs, allergies and anything you'd rather not eat
- Accessibility and any additional accommodations — the house is on a hill with steps
- Your chosen craft from the Craft Menu, plus any add-ons
- Who's coming with you and your retreat theme
Travel and arrival
- Tell us how much travel experience you have — first time in Europe is very welcome, and we'll go slower with the details
- Book flights into Málaga (roughly a 90-minute drive) once your dates are confirmed; we'll sanity-check your plan before you buy
- A car is needed out here and transport isn't included — rental cars and taxis are available at the airport, and we can help arrange a private shuttle
- We'll send arrival notes for the last stretch of road, parking, and what to do if you land late
Practical notes
- Spain uses type C/F sockets at 230V — bring a European adapter, and check whether your devices are dual-voltage
- Spain uses the euro; cards are widely accepted, though a little cash is handy in the village. Tell your bank you're travelling
- Pack layers, comfortable shoes for the hill and steps, sun protection, swimwear for the pool, and clothes you don't mind getting dye or clay on
- Travel insurance is worth considering — we're not able to advise on cover, visas or entry requirements, so please check the official guidance for your passport
